NHS England require that the net earnings of doctors engaged in the practice is publicised, and the required disclosure is shown below. However, it should be noted that
the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice, and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.
The average pay for GPs working in Tramways Medical Centre in the financial year 2024-25 was £155,566 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 2 full time GPs and 4 part time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.
Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of patients who work with the practice to help us understand the views and experiences of our patients. The group provides an opportunity for patients to share feedback, suggest improvements and contribute to discussions about how we can develop our services.
We are always keen to welcome new members and would particularly encourage patients from all backgrounds and age groups to get involved, so that the group reflects the diversity of our practice population.
You do not need any previous experience or specialist knowledge to take part. If you would like to join the Patient Participation Group, please speak to a member of our reception team.

As well as formal meetings, we may use patient surveys and other opportunities for feedback so that patients who are unable to attend meetings can still have their say.
